Renata Galf works at Transparência Brasil project "Achados e Pedidos", an online collaborative platform, which is both a database of Freedom of Information requests and responses, and a mapping of which public institutions are failing to comply with the law. She also participates in the co-creation and monitoring of the implementation of São Paulo's Open Government Action Plans. Galf graduated in Journalism at the University of São Paulo (USP) and has worked at the German broadcaster Deutsche Welle.
She is going to present what Transparência Brasil is doing to monitor delayed and paralyzed schools and nurseries constructions in Brazil. And also how accessing quality public information on educational public policies could have an impact on the access to education itself.
